What is the difference between Nova and NQIS?

Nova is the visible assistant idea: language, orientation, long-term support and a clear interaction model. NQIS is the technical foundation behind it: knowledge base, source grounding, roles, safety boundaries, audit logs and release checks.

Why is this different from a normal chatbot?

A normal chatbot often only provides an answer. The Nova/NQIS concept additionally focuses on local control, traceable sources, visible uncertainty, role-based permissions, safety limits and reviewable system changes.
